City Portal Director Two Tier Affiliate Program

by Phil Staudt
February 8, 2010

The City Portal Director business opportunity is a sales opportunity for persons who want to make money with a business of their own selling Internet advertising to local small business owners.

There is an affiliate program for Internet marketers who want to earn commissions by sending people to a web site that explains everything they need to know about becoming city portal directors. There are movies and sales people ready to walk them through the process of becoming city portal directors. All the affiliates need to do is place banners and/or links to a website. The people they send to this website will not only be informed about the city portal director opportunity, but that person will be a new down-line member on a sales and marketing website that is designed for entrepreneurs and marketing people to network with each other. Therefore, not only do affiliates have the opportunity to make commission from any new city portal directors that they recruit, but they will also be able to share any other business opportunities with the people that sign up under them.

If you have done affiliate marketing before, then you can see that this kind of affiliate marketing is revolutionary and is the most network friendly opportunity for you to build up multiple streams of Internet affiliate income. We understand that not every person who looks at the city portal business opportunity will want to become a city portal director, but since affiliates are also part of a larger network of sales and marketing professionals, this is a great way to build an organization of marketing people underneath you that you can send messages to and network with on other business opportunities or marketing programs you are involved with.

You may have heard from other marketing programs and business promoters that you should put all your eggs in one basket, and concentrate on one thing that it hope that they do not go out of business or screw you out of your commissions, but Tim Drobnick have been around long enough to know that things happen. Any business can take a turn for the worse. Even businesses like Circuit City and Monson Trucking and Pontiac and Goody's Family Clothing and Agape World and GottSchalks go out of business. So, just counting on one business opportunity or sales program or marketing company to be there for you forever is not a good idea. The city portal director opportunity offered by Timothy L. Drobnick Sr. has been around since 2005, and Timothy L. Drobnick Sr. has been making a living full time since 1995, and has been a sales person and marketer for over three decades. And we recommend that you promote the affiliate programs and companies and websites that belong to Timothy L.Drobnick Sr. and any other honest and reliable marketing programs that you have. We are not so insecure that we are worried that you will steal the over 50,000 members that belong to this network of sales entrepreneurs; actually we think that if you get it, and are a smart marketer, that you will invite all of your recruits and associates and marketing buddies to join the Timothy L. Drobnick Sr. marketing companies and start networking together with other successful sales-oriented people.

Get it???

1. Make money as an affiliate recruiting city portal directors.
2. Join a large network of successful marketing professionals who may be interested in other marketing programs that you belong to, now or in the future.
3. Be connected with experienced network marketing people who will give you advice and recommendations on other marketing programs and resources.
4. Get FREE leads to people who have filled out a form online and are looking for business opportunities.
5. You can join for free, but when you see all the benefits of being a Gold Member, it is a no-brainer for anyone with marketing experience that can see a good deal when it is available.
6. As a Gold Member, you can make even more money on commissions.

Come on over and check it out. It is free to look, and free affiliates do get paid.

My name is Phil Staudt, and I am the City Portal Development Advisor.

Join free and make money as an affiliate network with marketing people and advertise your other marketing programs and get free leads. Why not?

Get in on the successful marketer mixer today.

Written by Phil Staudt
City Portal Development Adviser
by Phil Staudt
It is not for everyone, and it involves actually going out and interacting with people and building up good long-term business relationships with small business owners in your community. You start out by getting them involved using the free stuff you have available for them on your portal. How hard is that?

It only costs $497 for the first 60 days, which includes over 20 training videos, and the set-up of your own unique city portal, with it's own unique domain name. The $497 includes everything you need to get started. Your unique city portal will be connected to city portals from around the world, which will bring traffic to your portal. The minimum you have to pay is $197 per month to maintain the rights to a portal. That is based on the sales quota for any town with a population under 100,000. It means that you should sell two premium ads per month, for which you pay $100 per ad, to have the premium ad posted on your portal for one year. If you do not sell any premium ads in a month, you are credited with $197 for future payment of premium ads, to cover when you sell more than two in a month. Therefore, over any 12 month period, your total payments would add up to $2,364.00, for a town with a population of less than 100K people, unless you sold more than 24 premium ads during those 12 months, which would be a good thing, because that would mean that you made more money.

The idea is not that you are SPENDING $197 per month, but that you have the possibility to be able to MAKE over $10,000 per year. Of course, that is entirely up to you to do. If you have done any selling in the past, then you understand that in order for you to make any money, you have to go out and make sales calls.

Portal directors were selling premium ads consistently for $1200+ per year, up until the big crash of Oct 2008. Now most of the portal directors are giving discounts to their customers. But that is why the price of the premium ads have been lowered to only $25 per ad up until April 1, 2010. That allows portal directors to make first time offers or special deals to their customers during this recession, and use this time as an opportunity to get new customers.

If you decided that you were only able to sell premium ads to businesses in your town for the low cost of $500 per year, and you sold two premium ads per month, you would collect $12,000 for 12 months, and that goes right into your bank account. And that is just for premium ads. (Do you know what yellow page ads cost???) There are smaller ads you can sell on your portal for shorter terms and for less than that, and whatever you collect for those is yours to keep.

So in a 12 month time period you should reasonably be able to make $10,000+ profit. If you keep in touch with your customers, and make sure that they are benefiting from their ad on your portal, which they will be doing because you will be contacting every other business in town, and when the other businesses look at your portal, it will create a buzz about your portal, and your customers will become repeat customers.

Of course, we do NOT guarantee that you will make anything, and this is just based on what some other portal directors have made. The question to you is, just like any other sales position, can you make sales?

More than ever, small businesses realize they need to advertise online to stay viable. When this business was started in 2005, many businesses were dead set against advertising on the Internet. Today, advertising online is not an option for most small businesses in America. If they don't get some of their business by advertising on the Internet, their competition will. The problem for the small business owner, is deciding where to spend their online advertising dollars. That is where the portal director comes in. Small business owners want to be able to deal with a real live person who actually cares about their business, and wants their advertising to be effective. Small business owners want to have somebody on their side, who is going to go to bat for them to help them to get exposure, and traffic, and new customers.

We could just set up websites for thousands of towns and just take money for advertising, like many others have done. But the city portal director business was created and designed by an entrepreneur who has done real business-to-business sales himself, and the city portal director is a small business owner who is also working in the same town as the advertisers. And that keeps the personal touch and human element involved between the small businesses and their advertising. The city portal director understands the unique circumstances and situations that are faced by small business owners in that particular town.

Why will small businesses want to advertise on your portal? They can spend money advertising on many websites. Most towns have websites that have been put up with the name of the town on them, and they will gladly let somebody place an ad on there for a fee. That is not what makes the city portal business a good business opportunity. When a small business owner is able to meet a real person who is the portal director in their town, then the value of that portal is priceless. The business owner realizes that this person is also going to go to all the other small businesses in that town, and those business owners will be looking at the city portal. And if they are advertising on the portal, then all the other business owners will see their ad on the portal. Plus, each business that advertises on the portal, or even has a free listing, or uses the event calendar for free to announce their upcoming events, will be telling their customers and associates about the city portal. However, without the real live human portal director, the city portal is just another website. The city portals that have active city portal directors, that run their city portal like a small business, are the ones that are successful and have happy satisfied repeat customers.

You can sell ads on your city portal to businesses anywhere in the world. As a city portal director, you can also put your own ad on your portal for other business opportunities and marketing programs that you are involved with. As a portal director, you are also automatically a member of the VIP Wealth Club, and you can advertise that on your city portal, and be earning residual income from the VIP Wealth Club.

What will make businesses in your city want to advertise on your portal is YOU. My boss in Denver 25 years ago, Doug Mays, when I was selling plumbing supplies to wholesalers, always told me that purchasing agents don't buy plumbing supplies, they buy YOU. If they like you, they will order something from you. The Internet has not changed that, even though there are a lot of people that wish they could just sell everything online and not care about the people they are selling to.

Selling is a transference of feeling. Dale Carnegie says that what people want is a feeling of importance, and if you can make them understand that they are important to you, then you can open the door to the possibility of making a sale. If you haven't listened to Zig Ziglar's "Secrets To Closing The Sale" I highly recommend it. It is over 25 years old, but people are still people, and the basic fundamentals of selling is still the same. The first book I read about selling, over 30 years ago, was “How I Went From Failure To Success In Sales” by Frank Betger. You probably already know all of this, but don't forget that technology and e-commerce has not made the personal touch, or the psychology of selling, out of date.

This city portal business is very old school. We believe in actually taking care of people, whether they are portal directors trying to get started in business, or whether they are seasoned entrepreneurs who want to become more successful, or whether they are small businesses that need to get more business by advertising on the Internet. This is a win-win business. Nobody has to lose in order for somebody to succeed.

There is a meeting room set up specifically for the city portal directors, which is basically a public chat, for the city portal directors to ask questions and help each other out. Once a city portal director is making lots of sales, and their city portal is looking the way they want it to, then they are able to help out the new portal directors. The more everybody helps each other out, the better it is for everyone. This business is a people business.

The city portal director business is not successful and popular because it is high tech or backed by a huge corporation, or because it is a get-rich quick scheme; the city portal director business is successful, and will become more successful, because it is unlike any other home business opportunity, because the founder and creator of the business opportunity, genuinely cares about people, and wants everybody who works for him, and with him, to do the same. That is the key to the success of your city portal, and the entire network of city portals, and portal directors.

Since I am the Portal Development Adviser for this company, I find myself in a similar situation that I was in 25 years ago. I was working for a manufacturer's rep firm in Denver, and we were selling supplies to the plumbing wholesalers in Denver. As manufacturer's reps we only sold to wholesalers, who then sold to the plumbing contractors. At that time, Denver had been the fastest growing metropolitan area in the country for many years, and Aurora, Colorado was the fastest growing suburb in th country. For that reason, many of the big plumbing contractors only were doing new constuction plumbing. Therefore, half of the wholesalers had all of their eggs in the new contruction basket.

Obviously, Denver did not continue being the fastest growing area in the country, and there are not 10 million people living in Denver in 2010, as it was being projected by the real estate experts during that housing boom. In other words, the new construction slowed way down, and Denver found itself with an over-built new home market, and nobody had any need for quite some time for a plumbing wholesaler or a plumbing contractor that ONLY did NEW residential construction. Consequently, many wholesalers and contractors went out of business in Colorado in the late 90's.

But in the early 80's, during the housing boom in Denver, the manufacturer's rep company I worked for, was representing several lines of plumbing supplies and equipment that was primarily used by plumbing contractors that were doing repair work. My job was to go around and tell the wholesalers that they should be stocking these supplies. But the wholesalers who were busy making a fortune by just selling supplies for new construction, had no interest whatsoever in buying or stocking or selling plumbing supplies for anything but new construction. The few of them that understood the value of diversifying their business, were also selling plumbing supplies to the plumbing contractors who did repair work, even though the repair part of the plumbing business in Colorado was not where the gravy money was in the early 80's. So, the plumbing wholesalers and plumbing contractors who stayed in business in the late 80's, were the ones that diversified, and had some established some business in the repair market, which got them through the residential down-turn in the late 80's.

And what in the world, you may ask, does plumbing supplies in the 80's have to with the city portal director business opportunity in 2010??? Folks, I know that in the world of business opportunities, the name of the game right now is to just sit at home in your boxer shorts, and work on your computer about two hours a day, and then check your bank account and see all the money just flowing in. I have seen those brochures, and right now that is what everybody is pushing on the Internet for people who are looking to make money online with their own home-based business. People see the guy or gal standing in front of the Rolls Royce and fancy home, and on a yacht, or sitting on the beach in the Bahamas with their laptop, and they say to themselves, "THAT is what I want to do". If that is what you are chasing after, I hope it works out well for you.

The city portal director business opportunity is just an old-fashioned good common sense business opportunity. You actually have to go out and be a real person and actually make some real sales calls to real people who own real small businesses. And when google changes their policies and criteria for the way their pages get ranked, and when there are 100 times as many websites online as there are today, and when facebook and twitter and blogging are not the way to make money online any more, then the city portal directors who have gone around their town and built up a good solid working relationship with the business owners in their community, will be doing just fine.

I hope you keep the city portal director business opportunity in mind in your quest for the right business opportunity for you.

Good luck and successful selling to you.

by Phil Staudt
February 7, 2010

I grew up in Gladstone, Oregon, and graduated from Gladstone High School in 1978. Now I live in Las Vegas, and I am a full time Internet marketer and I make money with affiliate programs.

Why do I tell you who I am? Because I want to let you see that I am a real person who is writing this. I only endorse a few things, and that is because I have inside knowledge about them, and I know what they are all about and who is behind them. I am not afraid to use my name to promote these things. The online companies I am promoting at this time are owned by an individual I have worked with, and have known since 1986. He has been working online as an Internet marketer since 1995. I have only been a full time Internet marketer since March 2009, but I have done part time online marketing and have promoted affiliate programs since 1999. I recently hooked up with him because he was getting ready to launch a new company that interested me greatly. He launched his latest business less than two weeks ago.

There are a lot of snakes and crooks and swindlers and scammers on the Internet. The Internet has made it possible for the crooks who were using mail order and telemarketing to run their scams in the 90's, to magnify their scamming operations and train the new scammers on how to rip people off on a grandiose scale. They use bogus names and tell all kinds of big bold lies, and nobody is monitoring them or stopping them or pressing charges against them. Every now and then you hear of a rogue seller or swindler, but for every one who gets caught or punished, there are thousands upon thousands of unscrupulous individuals who know how to hide and sneak and run, but not until after they steal and screw and laugh their ass off. That is the way it is in Internet marketing.

Why do I tell you that? I learned early on that it is not good in sales to bad mouth the competition. Doing that instills fear and aprehension in the minds of your potential prospects. They start thinking, "Yeah, you're right. And come to think of it, you are probably just as bad as them." Well, at the risk of losing some customers, what I have been looking for years and years is somebody who is willing to be real and honest and up front. If I turn some people off, and cause them to be discouraged, and they don't get into business opportunities that I make money promoting, that is fine by me, as long as I have given them the best advice I have to anyone who wants to make money online: BE CAREFUL!!!

How do you know if an Internet marketer is honest? One way is to google his name. But does that really give you a good picture? Any real Internet marketer who has been on the Internet for a few years or more, who uses their name to sell things, is going to have a lot of results on google or bing. Anyone can join all the social networking sites, and build a few fancy looking websites. That does NOT make them worthwhile.

There are malicious websites that have been put up about how horrible and rotten my friend is, and they call him a scammer. But it is always important to consider the sources of websites. They are either hiding under a rock, or they are one of the websites that specifically target a lot of reputable businesses online and call them scams, and intentionally slander them and make false claims, because it gets people to go to their website and pay attention to them. One of those websites is ripoffreport.com. Check them on wikipedia and see if what I am saying is true: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ripoff_Report. They have been sued many times, but to no avail.

Once again, the Internet is the wild wild west and there are not any sheriffs in town. There are also the websites that are put up that use the word "scam" to get people to go to their website, where it says absolutely nothing about that person or program or website that is being used in the link that brought them there. It is just a ploy to get traffic to their website and get people to look at what they have to sell. There a many many tricks and schemes online, so expect them, and be wise to them.

If you check out my friend on the Internet, and his websites, you will find that there are very many good people who have been doing business with him for many years, because he is honest and fair, and truly wants to see people succeed as Internet marketers. He does not mind if you do your due diligence, and there is no time clock telling you have to sign up in five minutes to get a hot deal. There is no pressure to whip out your credit card right now, because anything that is a good deal today, will also be a good deal tomorrow. If not, I smell a rat.

Any body can put up some bogus testimonials, but you will find out that he has real testimonials on his websites, from real people, who are involved in other Internet businesses and marketing programs, who use his websites and programs all the time to promote the other things they are doing. He does not tell people that they should only pay attention to his websites or marketing programs, because he is not afraid of people comparing his websites to other ones. Some Internet marketers make it sound like you are joining a cult or a gang, and that if you dare look at other opportunities or see what other people are doing online, that you are breaking some kind of code and will be cursed.

That is why I want to introduce my friend to you, who owns several online businesses and is a real person. You might meet him in person and shake his hand, and think to yourself, this guy is just like me. He has worked doing real jobs at real companies. He grew up poor, and their were no rich uncles or successful mentors to take him under their wing and make him successful. He had to go out there and struggle, and search, and learn, and get ripped off, and he has been lied to and cheated, and has been robbed just the same way that others have been. However, he is an eternal optimist, who never gave up on himself and always believed in his ability to overcome the odds without any deep pockets behind him, and his persistence has paid off. He could be a hell of lot richer if he had been willing to lower his standards and cheat people out of their money.

Don't lower yourself to being a scammer, or promote something you would not recommend to your mom or best friend.

Be picky about who you sleep with. Remember that you have to sleep with yourself for the rest of your life, so don't get stuck going to bed with a crook.

Be careful. Don't get scammed. And make lots of money.

http://internet-income-business.info

Recession Buster Business Opportunities

Are you still waiting for the jobs to come back? A friend of mine bought a sander for $30, because he wants to sand some wood he got for free. He is retired and is on Social Security. The sander was made over-seas. An American-made sander would cost at least three times as much. He can't afford that, and at that price, he would not buy one at all. People can argue about whether or not it should be this way, and politicians will say whatever gets them elected. But none of that changes the fact that YOU need to be making money, even if unemployment stays high, because a lot of the jobs that were held in this country for a long time are just not coming back any time soon. The politics can be discussed elsewhere, but right now it is time to talk about the fact that every American needs to own a business, and make money online, whether they are employed or not.

Having your own business is more crucial than ever. When tax time comes around, you should be using every legal means available to reduce your tax liability. Buying a home definitely has tax advantages, but the tax advantages of home ownership is not as good as the tax advantages from owning a business, in my opinion. (I am not a financial adviser, tax preparer, and I recommend you get your tax info from irs.gov). That is why you should do both; buy a home and have a business. Now that the credit pendilum has swung away from the ridiculous lending practices of banks making loans to high risk defrauders, over to banks not lending any money to anyone unless they are already rich with A-1 credit, now it makes a lot of sense for people who do not qualify for buying a home today to start a home business instead.

There are two business opportunities that I am affiliated with. In fact, the owner of both businesses is a good friend of mine I have known for over 20 years. These business opportunities are not just businesses I found about online, or read about in a magazine. I have looked at thousands of business opportunities in the past 30 years. Recessions tend to spawn the creation and promotion of many so-called business opportunities that are nothing more than empty pyramid schemes, scams, rip-offs, and deals that are the equivalent to chain-letters. Be aware of anything that boasts getting rich quick with no learning or effort involved. The select few business opportunities that I am involved with are business opportunities that I would feel recommending to my closest friends, if they asked my opinion. They are not for everyone, and there is no guarantee that they will make anybody rich who does not want to invest some learning time and effort. But if you are in a situation where having your own business makes good financial sense to you, and you could use some income and tax breaks, then

please look at these business opportunities.

The way to beat the recession is by making money with your own business, part time or full time.
